Unpack the vsftpd source
cd into the directory holding the vsftpd source
Edit sysdeputil.c
Remove the following lines (161-165):
	#include <syscall.h>
	_syscall2(int, capset, cap_user_header_t, header, const cap_user_data_t, data)
	/* Gross HACK to avoid warnings - linux headers overlap glibc headers */
	#undef __NFDBITS
	#undef __FDMASK

Edit sysutil.c
Replace this line (604):
	return WIFEXITED(p_waitret->exit_status);
with:
	return WIFEXITED((struct vsf_sysutil_wait_retval*) p_waitret->exit_status);
and replace this line (614):
	return WEXITSTATUS(p_waitret->exit_status);
with:
	return WEXITSTATUS((struct vsf_sysutil_wait_retval*) p_waitret->exit_status);
